Keep a Folder for Half-Finished Ideas
A collection of unfinished thoughts can become one of a writer's most valuable creative resources.
Not Every Idea Needs to Be Finished
Not every idea needs to become an article today.
Some ideas arrive as a single sentence. Others are just an interesting question or a paragraph you don't know what to do with.
That's okay.
Create an Idea Archive
Create a folder for unfinished thoughts, interesting headlines, random observations, questions, and paragraphs you don't know what to do with yet.
Give yourself somewhere to put them.
You don't need to organize everything perfectly. The important thing is that your ideas don't disappear.
Come Back Later
Some will stay unfinished.
Others will become your best work months later.
You don't need to know what an idea is for when you first have it.
You just need somewhere to keep it.
