A Better Way to Plan Your Week

A simple way to choose your priorities, organize your week, and leave enough room for the unexpected.

A Better Way to Plan Your Week

Start With the Bigger Picture

Before opening your calendar on Monday morning, ask yourself one question:

What would make this week feel successful?

Maybe it's finishing an article, launching a project, getting back into a routine, or simply having more time away from work.

Pick Three Outcomes

Choose three meaningful outcomes for the week.

Don't turn them into dozens of tiny tasks yet. Think about what you actually want to have accomplished by Friday.

This gives your week a direction instead of simply filling every available space with tasks.

Leave Some Room

Don't plan every hour.

Unexpected things will happen. You'll need breaks. Some tasks will take longer than expected.

A good weekly plan doesn't tell you everything you need to do. It tells you what matters most.
